MT. MAKILING FOREST RESERVE
Above and beyond all the natural and manmade wonders that make Laguna a tourist destination is the majestic Mt. Makiling and its hot springs. In September 2013, the ten-member ASEAN approved the nomination of the Mt. Makiling Forest Reserve (MMFR) as the 33rd ASEAN Heritage Park. The park, which covers 4,244.37 hectares, is run by the academe as it houses the UP Los Baños campus.
